I had the appt with the maternal fetal specialist yesterday, and it went quickly since the boys were both awake and active…. they are both doing well, practicing their breathing movements and amniotic fluid is sufficent…. and that is all they had to say. Altho, Alex flipped again, he is now breech, AGAIN, so it looks like mr. calm is just messing with mama and her desire to not have my belly sliced open! Tomorrow is the appt with the OB….. the usual, pee in a cup, take the blood pressure, measure the belly, check heartbeats…. but i also get to get nekkid!!! It is really sad that i am almost thrilled at that idea, because they are gonna test for the Gram Strep bacteria, and that means i am one more step closer to getting these boys OUT OF ME!!! As the one doctor said, once we start making you take your clothes off again, you are almost done. I am secretly hoping they take one look down there and say, wow, you are X cm dialated… we are sending you to the hospital…. but i know i should tough it out a few more weeks for the sake of the boys’ health.
Even tho i am not on doctor ordered bedrest, that is all i can really do….. television sucks with the exception of my Y&R addiction, thank GOD for the internet and my new NOOK! Altho that reminds me, i should find that book i never finished 7 1/2 years ago when i was prego with the lil k.
